On Sunday, September 5th we’ll be hosting a farm tour to one of the local organic farms from whom we and likely You buy.  Teal Creek Organic Farm is located just south of Dallas.  Sloan & Keith raise a wide variety of food for LifeSource including  lettuce, cauliflower, kale, chard, kohlrabi,cabbage, squash, peppers, onions, peas, beets, and cucumbers.  Their farm is more than 30 acres of south facing, rolling, sloping hills, nestled in the eastern slope of the Cascade foothills.  It’s named for the beautiful creek that runs along the border.
The tour will gather here at the store and caravan in two vans to the farm. Â We’ll provide lunch and water to refill your personal water container. Â Vans will begin to load at 11:20 and leave at 11:40. Â Paige & Kyle will be your tour guides from LifeSource.
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking around a farm, Â hat or visor and we recommend sunscreen. Â Please, no children under 12. Â Sign up at the Customer Service counter at the store. Â The tour is free of charge to You. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
