The post title really says it all, but we’re just infatuated with these bright, intensely red grapefruit!

The Rio Star variety hails from South Texas and it’s a delicious source of Vitamin C, Folic Acid, and Potassium – as well as Naringin and Lycopene.

This variety is very sweet and exhibits little of the bitterness that some people associate with grapefruit. They’re perfect just as they are, but they can also be a great choice for desserts or savory dishes.
