I just grabbed the roasted roots without looking much because I love them. The nuts and spice are very tasty but I didn’t read the description so can you please tell me the spice?

Here’s a quick ‘back of the napkin’ conversion of the recipe 🙂

½ cup Tamari
½ Water
6 Tbsp Honey
3 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
1 ½ Tbsp Lime Juice
2 cloves Garlic
½ tsp Chile Flakes

2 medium Onions, wedged
1 large Sweet Potato, cubed
2 large Red Potatoes, cubed
2 Carrots, cubed
½ cup Peanuts

1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Mix all marinade ingredients
3. Add chopped veggies and peanuts and toss to coat
4. Spread veggies out on a large roasting pan
5. Roast – turning once – for about 30 minutes or until veggies have softened
