Hawaiian Mong Chong Fillets

Posted on March 15th, 2012 by Matt LifeSource | Posted in Notes & News

We just received a shipment of an exciting Hawaiian fish, Mong Chong. Also known as Lustrous Pomfret, this exotic species is growing in popularity with chefs worldwide. A firm fillet, with a buttery-sweet taste, Mong Chong is best in simple recipes that highlight its mild flavor. Try rolling chunks in tapioca flour and sauteing in coconut oil for a quick and healthy dish!
