We’ll be working the street (Commercial Street, that is) between Madrona and Kuebler Monday through Friday, the 22nd – 26th. We’ve seen a Redtail hawk defending her nest from crows, mushrooms that look like flowers, found such prizes as a pitchfork and a hammer. It’s good exercise and when you’ve finished, you can glow in the feel-good of having done a worthy service. Let us know when you’d like to come, or just join us when you see us!
Do you think real kids deserve real food? We do! Join us from 11am to 1:30pm TODAY!! to sign the Real Food for Real Kids pledge. Each signature will trigger a $1 donation to Healthy Child Healthy World. Organic Valley will have grilled cheese sandwiches, Green Screen Booth and fun activities on hand.
LifeSource had the opportunity to provide snacks and beverages for the Build Crew last weekend for Fences for Fido.

Thank you, also, to each of you who let us know that you prefer to continue to receive a paper copy of our newsletter.
We appreciate each and every one of you.
Salem Harvest connects farmers and backyard growers with volunteer pickers to harvest fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.
Half of each harvest is donated to the Marion-Polk Food Share or its affiliated food pantries and volunteer pickers take home the rest.
