Come join the Fun and Feel Good Street Clean-up Crew!

We’ll be working the street (Commercial Street, that is) between Madrona and Kuebler Monday through Friday, the 22nd – 26th.  We’ve seen a Redtail hawk defending her nest from crows, mushrooms that look like flowers, found such prizes as a pitchfork and a hammer.  It’s good exercise and when you’ve finished, you can glow in the feel-good of having done a worthy service. Let us know when you’d like to come, or just join us when you see us!

Want to be part of our Road Crew?

It’s been a long wet winter and now that the sun is out again ~ YAY!! ~ we can see all the flotsam that’s collected along our designated stretch of Commercial St SE.

If you’d like to come and play outside with us, helping to beautify  your town, let us know!

Respond to this, call us – 503-361-7973 – or just show up at the store by 9.

We’d love to have your help.

Wed & Thursday, the 13th & 14th.

That’s this week!

We start at 9 and finish by 4, with flexible hours in-between.

Hope to see you on the roadside!

Congratulations Susan G

You’ve won a LifeSource gift card!

Susan’s name was chosen from those of you who let us know you would like to switch your newsletter delivery from paper based postal deliver to email delivery.

Susan has been notified by, of course, email.

Thanks to each of you who made that choice.

Thank you, also, to each of you who let us know that you prefer to continue to receive a paper copy of our newsletter.

We appreciate each and every one of you.

Thank You for your donations to Salem Harvest!!

You all donated $588.20 to SalemHarvest.org

Salem Harvest connects farmers and backyard growers with volunteer pickers to harvest fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.

Half of each harvest is donated to the Marion-Polk Food Share or its affiliated food pantries and volunteer pickers take home the rest.
