We’ll be working the street (Commercial Street, that is) between Madrona and Kuebler Monday through Friday, the 22nd – 26th. We’ve seen a Redtail hawk defending her nest from crows, mushrooms that look like flowers, found such prizes as a pitchfork and a hammer. It’s good exercise and when you’ve finished, you can glow in the feel-good of having done a worthy service. Let us know when you’d like to come, or just join us when you see us!

2,4-D on our food??? Really???
Dow Chemical is currently requesting an unprecedented USDA approval:
a genetically engineered (GE) version of corn that is resistant to 2,4-D, a major component of the highly toxic Agent Orange.
